Contract Type
This contract is a fully competed Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) direct order, direct bill non-mandatory single award contract for a five year period, one base year and four option years. The contract value is set at $49.5M. The minimum per order value is set at $50.00 and maximum per order value is set at $1.5M.

This contract offers telecommunications equipment and labor in direct support to federal agencies within Region 7. The contract allows the federal agencies the ability to place orders directly with the vendors or seek the assisted services offered by the GSA/FAS Region 7 staff. This initiative will provide federal agencies the ability to procure comprehensive telecommunications equipment and services, that will streamline the ordering and management of projects and services, and ultimately lower the total cost of commercial products and services.

Service Types
Customers can place orders directly with the TelServ contractor or they can request GSA assistance for placing orders. With Direct Order/Direct Bill, the agency is responsible for all aspects of the acquisition and GSA only provides the contract vehicle. Under GSA Assisted Services, GSA may perform any or all of the following on behalf of an Agency:
Assist and/or develop an SOW
Ensuring contractual compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation
Verification, obligation, and ensuring proper use of funds
Evaluating proposals and awarding orders
Maintaining all award documentation
Processing order closeout
The GSA Assisted Service Fee is negotiated between GSA and the Ordering Agency.
